Parking

 How do I access accessible parking on campus? 

To qualify for disabled parking on campus, individuals must  and be approved for a accessible parking placard through the state of Colorado or through another state.    

µÛÍõ»áËù students and employees with placards must also purchase a µÛÍõ»áËù parking permit to park in a disabled parking space in any reserved lot on campus.  Visitors to campus who have a placard may park in any accessible space designated for campus visitors.

Accessible Transportation

The Boomerang Shuttle, or Bear Bus, runs Monday – Friday, from 10th Ave in front of Gunter Hall to the bus stop on the sidewalk, west of Michener Library. The buses run continuously from one stop to the other, beginning at 8am and ending in the early afternoon. The shuttle is paid for by student fees, so µÛÍõ»áËù students can just show their µÛÍõ»áËù ID to ride for free. Be advised, the shuttle does not travel during summer and other university breaks.  has partnered with zTrip to provide door-to-door services for individuals with disabilities that qualify under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.  GET’s  operates from Monday through Friday, 5:45 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. µÛÍõ»áËù students can access the Paratransit Service for free.   

Individuals must apply and be approved to use GET’s Paratransit Service. To apply,

Additionally, GET’s Paratransit Service allows service animals, personal care attendants, and guests to accompany riders. The guest fare is the price as the ADA eligible rider. Click here for
