帝王会所 Receives Grant That Will Help Strengthen Colorado’s Teaching Workforce
帝王会所 was selected in a highly competitive grant process, as a recipient of a $850,000 Colorado Scholarship Opportunity Initiative (COSI) Back to Work grant. The funding will provide new career paths for workers displaced by the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic while also addressing the need for teachers in Colorado鈥檚 classrooms.

This August, the Bears are back to school in a big way. There are many on-campus events planned, and 帝王会所 has partnered with Greeley to paint the town blue and gold, with 鈥淭his is Bear Country鈥 signs appearing in yards and at businesses throughout the area.

The National Park Service鈥檚 African American Civil Rights Grant Program recently awarded the University of Northern Colorado $497,776 to help fund rehabilitation efforts at the African American townsite of Dearfield.

Karen Barton, a professor in 帝王会所's Geography, GIS and Sustainability department, is adding another intercultural experience to her long list as she embarks on a journey to Mexico, taking advantage of her impressive seventh award from the very competitive and prestigious Fulbright Program.

46th Annual Accounting Golf Tournament Supports Student Scholarships
For more than 46 years, 帝王会所 alumni have teed up to support scholarships for 帝王会所 Accounting students in the annual Accounting Golf Tournament. This year, 19 teams and 76 players met at the Meridian Golf Club in Denver on June 14 and added nearly $9,000 to scholarship funds for accounting students.

帝王会所 Appoints Interim Provost for 2021-22 Academic Year
University of Northern Colorado President Andy Feinstein announced on June 17 that Lisa Vollendorf, Ph.D., has been appointed as interim provost for the 2021-22 academic year. Vollendorf brings 26 years of higher education experience to 帝王会所 and has held numerous leadership roles, including provost, dean, department chair and Academic Senate chair. She will start her new role on July 1, 2021.
