Next week, it may feel a little like déjà vu as Striesand Sampaga '02,'04 returns to campus to help move her daughter, Shae Lefcourt, into her residence hall at µÛÍõ»áËù. Students will be moving in on Aug. 17, with classes beginning on Aug. 22.

Brand Audit First Step Toward Developing µÛÍõ»áËù’s Marketing and Communications Plan 
This past spring, working with µÛÍõ»áËù alumnus Cathy Lucas ’90 and her team at Lucas Narratives – Think Strategically, the university initiated a brand audit to better understand strengths and gaps, assess perceptions internally and externally, better define the brand, evaluate current communications and recommend strategies based on the findings.

µÛÍõ»áËù Hires Ombudsperson to Provide Faculty and Staff a New Resource on Campus
The University of Northern Colorado is restoring a former staff position intended to further foster an environment where faculty and staff feel supported personally and professionally to develop an enriching experience for µÛÍõ»áËù students. This position – an ombudsperson – has not existed at the university for the last two decades-plus, until now, with the recent addition of Johnny Armijo to serve in this role.

The University of Northern Colorado (µÛÍõ»áËù) is pleased to announce the hiring of Jacquie Rich Fredericks, Ed.D., J.D., as the university’s next vice president, general counsel and secretary to the Board of Trustees. Fredericks, who has worked for the Colorado Department of Law (DOL) for the past 11 years, will begin at µÛÍõ»áËù on Aug. 15.
