Whether you’re planning to attend the historic groundbreaking for µÛÍõ»áËù’s proposed College of Osteopathic Medicine or tailgate and cheer on the Bears football team as they take on Cal Poly, there’s something for everyone on campus Sept. 23-29.
This Homecoming comes with the unique and exciting opportunity to attend a groundbreaking event signaling the start of a transformational project for µÛÍõ»áËù, our community and beyond. Come join us as we embark on this exciting new chapter!
Whether your last visit was when you walked across the graduation stage at commencement or more recent, Homecoming is a great opportunity to return to campus and reminisce about your college experience with friends and family, while celebrating the exciting progress happening around campus.
1. Alumni Campus Employee Breakfast
The µÛÍõ»áËù Alumni Association wants to thank and recognize the alumni who support students every day as members of the µÛÍõ»áËù faculty and staff. Homecoming week will kick off by bringing together an important group of Bears supporting Bears for a complimentary homecoming breakfast.
2. Class of 1974 Reunion
The µÛÍõ»áËù Alumni Association welcomes back the Class of 1974 for their 50-Year Reunion. Come home to campus Sept. 27-28 to celebrate this milestone year by joining your former classmates for a private campus tour, a VIP breakfast at the University Center, the College of Osteopathic Medicine Groundbreaking Ceremony, and the Homecoming tailgate and football game against Cal Poly.
3. 1969 Football Reunion: 45th Anniversary
Players from the 1969 RMAC Championship Football team are invited back to campus to celebrate their 45th anniversary. Details available through football alumnus Joe Drew.
4. Homecoming 5K
µÛÍõ»áËù Campus Recreation is hosting the annual Homecoming 5k on Saturday morning. The route will take you through campus, starting at the Campus Recreation Center at 8:00 a.m. Grab your running shoes, and take in the nostalgia as you walk (or jog) down memory lane.
5. College of Osteopathic Medicine Groundbreaking
Join campus and community leadership in the historic groundbreaking ceremony for µÛÍõ»áËù's proposed College of Osteopathic Medicine. Celebrate and be a part of µÛÍõ»áËù history as we lay the foundation for innovative and academic excellence.
6. Tailgate and Football Game Against Cal Poly
Alumni and friends are invited to celebrate µÛÍõ»áËù's annual Homecoming tailgate north of Nottingham Field. Guests are invited to enjoy complimentary drinks, snacks, games and giveaways before heading into the game to cheer on the Bears.
7. Women's Volleyball vs. Idaho State
Show your support for µÛÍõ»áËù Women's Volleyball as they take on Idaho State at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Bank of Colorado Arena. Game and season tickets are on sale through the µÛÍõ»áËù Ticket Office.
