Who We Are: A Place for Gender Equity and Belonging

At the Center for Women’s and Gender Equity, we create a space where all students feel respected, supported and valued. We center the experiences of women, trans and nonbinary students while welcoming every identity to engage, learn and grow with us.

Our work is grounded in equity and inclusion. We believe gender is central to identity, and we challenge sexism, cissexism and misogyny by fostering education, conversation and community.

What We Do: Programs with Purpose

We provide opportunities for students to explore identity, build leadership and advocate for change. Whether you are joining us for an educational workshop, stopping by to connect with peers or looking for a validating space, CWGE is here for you.

Our programs and services include:

  • Educational workshops and events on gender, equity and social justice.
  • Community building that empowers student voices and fosters belonging.
  • Support and advocacy for navigating sexism and gender-based inequities.
  • Collaborations with cultural and resource centers, academic departments and campus partners.
